HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY!!!

This boy is 7. I can't believe it. We've had three days of celebrations because of it. Monday gave good weather so the kid party was then. Sherman set up an epic slip and slide in the front lawn and we also had 200 water balloons. It made for a wet but fun party.

Kellan asked for tweed squares made by Neenie for his birthday cake, and then on his real bday for supper he asked for fish chowder and peanut butter pie. Last year I had to make him peanut butter balls for his bday so I got off easy this year.

Tweed square bday breakfast, along with some Lego :)

Oh good, more Playmobile!

And the Bruder backhoe he thought was out of stock. It was a good day!!!

Who needs stuffed animals when you have a Bruder backhoe to snuggle with?

Thank-you to those who sent birthday gifts. They were much appreciated.

The next day we went away to the zoo with Keely and Keyauna. I think their favorite part was the frog pond. Who cares about lions and tigers and bears when there's frogs?

Since my last post, we've had lots of beach and pool days with great friends.

We've done the Colour Run, gone to a splash pad and trampoline park in Moncton, the Huntsman Aquarium and Kingsbrae Gardens in Saint Andrews, a movie and playground in Saint John as well as kayaking and Reading Club, Rally Cap and soccer. Summer's been busy and fun, just like we like it!
