MAY

Well, May is certainly flying by. We've been away a bit this month - we had a great trip to Moncton to see my brother, my pregnant sister-in-law and my two super-sweet nieces. We've also had to go to Saint John a few times lately as we've just found out that Brady has celiac disease, and so we've been doctoring. Brady did get his driver's licence last week though, so that was a highlight (for him).

BIG BOY AND LITTLE BOY HAVING A SNUGGLE

We've had fun making tents in the kitchen. They're a good place to get dressed or to relax. He loves to dress himself, and then undress himself, and then dress himself again. Sometimes things get put on backwards (brown shirt), but who cares?

He's still in his crib - he's made no effort to crawl out of it and he loves his bed. He's a great sleeper and I'm very thankful for that. He likes to go to bed early (around 7:00) and get up early (5:30 - 7:00), which is good for me with work. It usually gives us time to be together before the rush of the day starts. He still has a nap in the afternoon but he's shortening that himself.

HE DOESN'T USUALLY SLEEP ACROSS HIS BED, BUT I HAVE CAUGHT HIM TWICE IN THE PAST LITTLE BIT.
The Toronto/Boston hockey series was pretty exciting. Last Sunday night a friend of Brady's asked to come for the night so he could watch the game with us, and we had some of our friends in as well. There were lobster rolls and bacon-wrapped scallops to eat. So, we just had to let him stay up for a bit to enjoy some of the fun. He had a great time, this future hockey star.

Today we went to the police station to see the police cars, the ambulance and the fire truck. It didn't go over too well. Somebody had to be woken up early from their nap to go and wasn't in the best mood for exploring. He perked up later, though, when we went to the park, and then to the store.

THE ONLY THIING WE WENT FOR WAS SHERMAN'S PEPSI. IT SEEMED LIKE SOMEONE HAD A FEW ITEMS ON THEIR OWN GROCERY LIST...
