I want to begin this first post by explaining the title of my blog.
For those of us blessed enough to know Justice, life has changed. We are all now experiencing "a different kind of normal". Some of us are welcoming this new normal, some are not. Some of us are rejoicing in it, and for some it has brought heartache.
Though our normal is now different, we all have something in common: we want a joyful life for a precious boy. I hope that this blog can be a celebration, despite our differences, of just such a thing.
I also want to say that in Isaiah 61 (the address of my blog), it says that Jesus was sent to bind up the brokenhearted. I pray that this too, will be a reality for those who find themselves with broken hearts while trying to adjust to this different kind of normal.
